Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn the different sizes of period products and why having a variety might be helpful.
Students will learn tools to help them feel better during their period.
As a middle school English teacher I coached BStrong BFit which was a program designed with UCHealth in the state of Colorado. Part of the coaching and curriculum included conversations/trainings on how to talk to students about their period, this then allowed me to assist male health teachers approach this subject within their classrooms. Additionally, I ran a program called Made of Magic which discussed topics around menstrual health at Poudre High School and Bill Reed Middle School in Northern Colorado.

Other certifications I have received will help this course include:
Foundations of Mindfulness by Rice University
The Science of Well-Being by Stanford University
