Students will demonstrate the fundamental standards across all subjects relevant to Algebra 1. Exiting class, students will exude confidence in their capacity to tackle Algebra 2.
Miss Sarah, a certified teacher, possesses qualifications spanning from pre-K to grade 12 in general education, special education, music education, and Spanish. Since graduating in 2016, she has diligently pursued further education through professional development courses, conferences, and presentations. With specialized training as a special education teacher, Miss Sarah adeptly tailors assignments to accommodate varying student abilities. Moreover, her certifications in curriculum development and design equip her to create engaging and effective educational materials for both general and special education settings.
Homework Offered
Homework assignments must be submitted promptly at the beginning of class to facilitate collective review. Given Algebra 1's progressive nature, completing these assignments is vital for success in the course. Each assignment should be manageable within a 30-minute timeframe.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will undergo assessment via mini projects and weekly homework tasks. Furthermore, they will engage in assessments through interactive games such as Nearpods, Kahoots and Blookets.Grades Offered
At the conclusion of each marking period, students and parents will receive a detailed report card containing one grade per marking period along with a final average, accompanied by personalized comments. Intermittent progress reports will be available upon request.

Students must have participated in, and successfully completed, Algebra 1 prior to enrolling in Geometry.
