Beginner Level
Does your learner love to go to the beach or lake on your summer vacations? How about fishing in a pond or swimming in the neighborhood pool? This course will help learners see the importance of water conservation and the effects water has on everything in their environment. Topics such as water usage and drinking water accessibility, where water "comes" from (e.g. the water cycle), and how water pollution caused by humans has a major impact on all life and the surrounding environment will be discussed in this interactive, engaging course. Students will learn actively by participating in activities and discussing the topics that we learn. No prior knowledge is required; just a budding love for the natural world and conserving our environment and it's resources!
Learning Goals
Students will discover the impact humans can have on water quality and quantity
