Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this 10 lesson course, students will learn the basics in music theory for singers. Miss Lenora has designed this course so that students can build confidence, develop into stronger singers, and start their journey with the language of Music Theory. These skills are crucial, as they enable students to communicate and understand musical concepts more effectively. The ability to read sheet music helps students identify notes, chords, and rhythms with greater ease. As they continue to familiarize themselves with reading music, they are developing the ability to sight-read and sing more complex pieces of music. Reading music is essential for singers to perform in choirs, auditions, musical theatre, music for commercials (jingles) and a future as a successful singer.
