There truly is a method to the madness when it comes to multiplication! This lesson builds off the class focused on Multiplication Tables - 0, 1, 2, 5, 10 and using those skills to add in the Multiplication Tables of Factors 4 and 6. In this class we will use multiplication charts, tables, order of factors, math vocabulary, arrays and problem solving strategies to find patterns within the principles of multiplication. Additional timed drills will be provided for building automaticity.
Speed Drill worksheets will need to be printed prior to class. Learners will also need to bring either a whiteboard and marker or notecards and pencil for games and drills.
Timed speed races for progress towards math fluency.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
