We will concentrate on the 0-to-10 Multiplication Table. First, I will encourage them by helping them discover how much they already know. Then, I will teach them a chant I invented to help them learn the doubles. They will all practice this chant several times throughout the class. After that, we'll focus on the many interesting facts about the 9s to help them learn those facts. Finally, I'll show them a unique way to always know 8x7, 6x7, and 8x8. In the end, they will have been exposed to everything from 0 to 10!
Learning Goals
Students will feel more confident with their multiplication facts from 0 to 10. If they freeze and forget a fact (as we all occasionally do), they will know how to quickly recover and get the answer.Other Details
