2-Digit Multiplication Made Simple

Multiplication plays a very important role in math. But, we wouldn't get very far if we only ever multiplied one digit numbers. In this lesson, we will learn how to multiply 2-digit by 2-digit numbers.  Don't worry, it is easier than it sounds!
It would be helpful if you know your times tables before starting this lesson, but if you don't, do not worry! I will teach you what you need to know to be successful with multiplication.
I will provide activities for class, with a homework section to complete after the lesson for review.  
Multiplication is needed for more challenging concepts learned later.  Let's take some time to learn it properly now, so we will understand it when we need it later:)
The best way to improve your multiplication skills is practice. One of the biggest reasons kids struggle with this concept is that they do not align the numbers properly. Then when they go to add at the end, they are adding the wrong numbers together. I have created the worksheets on graph paper to help show students how to do the problems properly.
This class will be useful to any age student who needs help with multiplication of two digit numbers.  So any age student is welcome:)
