Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Welcome to Waldorfunn, where I teach children multiplications and divisions using a Waldorf-inspired philosophy.

In this fabulous beginner multiplication class, students will play with the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 multiplication facts and learn to recognize their peculiar patterns, giving them a deeper numeral understanding.

I include artful drawings and hands-on activities in each class to engage the child's curiosity and enthusiasm. Sketching the math facts will deepen the retention of the curriculum. Rhythmic skip counting will ensure long-term memorization. Form movements will increase concentration and academic retention. I include kinesthetic movement to develop new brain synapses, which helps the learning process while the child experiences fun. Through all these methods, I ensure that children will retain multiplication knowledge.

Each class will cover one specific multiplications table. Students will delve into various activities to ignite their cognitive ability and curiosity. The magic and mysteries of each number pattern will be revealed to them through various drawings.
Through repetition, students will develop confidence and ease with numeral patterns. Students will also develop a flexible, open mind about multiplication facts through movement and skip counting.

Having embodied multiplication tables and mastering them is a critical core academic expertise that will secure the child's confidence in future advances in mathematics.

At Waldorfunn math, we don't just do math; we experience numbers through artful learning.

My style of teaching is restful, loving, and fascinating.
Igniting the child's imagination and interest is critical to mathematical success and numerical mastery.

As a Waldorf-inspired teacher, I nurture and engage each child through a curriculum and methodology that integrates academics and the arts. I aim to engage the child's head, heart, and hands—or thinking, feeling, and willing—through the calming benefits of creative art and fascinating arithmetic facts.

At Waldorfunn, each class begins with a deep breath. We say a verse to prepare ourselves for a beautiful learning experience.
At the beginning and middle of class, we do body movements that correlate to the week's number. We end each class with a gratitude moment, a closing song, and a farewell goodbye.

Mathematics is my passion, and I specialize in Classical Greek geometry and arithmetic.
I crafted my math classes to trigger the genius in each student.

I speak four languages fluently.
I also teach reading and spelling classes at the elementary level because I believe in the power of classical literature. I crafted these classes for children to fall in love with writing with perfect spelling.

Like in Math, if a class is meaningful and emotionally captivating, "Difficult" academics become satisfying!
I strive to create those "AHH" moments in children...they are the delights of academic work!
