Mufasa Lion King Dance Party!

In this 55 minute class, students will have a chance to learn creative movement/Hip Hop choreography inspired by the Mufasa movie soundtrack.  Class will begin with a brief intro session and warm up that will prepare the students for the choreography the end. The warm up will also encourage different movement qualities and patterns based on the musical choices as well as the theme of each movie.  After a brief water and brain break, students will learn choreography and have a chance to build their creativity and performance quality while dancing.  This is a movement based class so students should be in a space that is free and clear to prevent injuries and should wear comfortable clothing.  There will be time at the end of class for students to preform the choreography to me as a means of informal assessment to make sure learning goals are met.
