Other Details
Learning Needs
As someone who has learned to manage her anxiety and ADHD, I strive to provide a safe space for children of all abilities. These needs are supported by incorporating movement into the class, and altering the class structure if needed.
Parental Guidance
This class is designed to be a calm, mindful experience, and we encourage a peaceful environment to support your child's relaxation and focus. Please ensure that your child has a quiet, open space free from any obstacles that could cause tripping or slipping during the session. I recommend comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and slip-proof socks or bare feet to prevent slipping. While this class focuses on gentle meditative practices using breathwork, including simple activities like feather play, it's important to remember that any physical activity carries some risk of injury. Adult supervision is strongly recommended to ensure your child’s safety. Make sure your child is well-hydrated and has a water bottle nearby.
Pre-Requisites
To ensure a serene and focused environment, it’s important that learners come ready to embrace a quiet and calming class atmosphere. While we’ll enjoy each other’s company and have fun exploring mindfulness, this time is dedicated to peace.
