Mean, median, mode, and range are four kinds of "averages." There are many "averages" in statistics, but these are the most common, and are certainly the four students are likely to encounter. In this class we will work hard and have fun learning how to find the mean, median, mode, and range through a presentation, short lecture, examples, discussion, practice, and a game. Students are not required to have any background knowledge on this topic before class begins. There will be no homework, but the sheets provided will give you some additional practice, should you want it. The learners should leave this class understanding how to find the mean, median, mode, and range. I will teach these concepts with a simple step-by-step approach. At the end of class we will also play a fun game to review each one too.
