Description
Class Experience
Math anxiety is a common problem for many students. I have seen it so many times in the classroom. It does not need to be! I teach Math with a simple, step-by-step approach, using a variety of engaging activities for all learning styles, and I have had great success with my students. I create a positive and relaxed environment for learning, where students are comfortable. Children learn that they are free to ask questions, and yes, it is ok to make mistakes. Sometimes we learn most from the mistakes we make. I have been teaching K-8 grades for almost 20 years, and I have been a personal tutor for over ten. I believe all children can learn, and I work hard to meet all students needs. Learning is made fun in my classroom and students will find success, with academics, and building their confidence too.
1 file available upon enrollmentI have provided handouts for this class. You will receive them once you enroll. Students should have a few sheets of paper and print out the handouts for class. Please do not complete them before class. Thanks.
