This is a 60 minute one-on-one tutoring session for students needing extra help in 6th & 7th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 or Precalculus.

If offer tutoring sessions for students who are struggling in high school math including 6th & 7th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Precalculus. I help students by giving them strategies for approaching problems. I find that students' confidence levels rise when they have true understanding of a concept and are given a step by step approach of finding the answer. Sometimes lack of confidence is the main deterrent for success in math. I love seeing the lightbulb come on...
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understand of the math concepts that they are struggling with. They will have the opportunity to see the teacher work through example problems and then have the chance to work problems with the teachers assistance if needed.
