Students will study the first quarter of Pre-Algebra 1 concepts over an eight week (once per week) or four week (twice per week) period.

Using algebra to solve and graph inequalities.

Rates and Unit Rates
Calculating unit rates and applying concept to real world solutions.
 Week 4
Lesson 7
Converting Rates and Measurements, Solving Proportions
Comparing and solving proportions and introduction to dimensional analysis.
Lesson 8
Scale Drawings and Models
Using proportions to apply solutions to archetectural
  • Students will learn the prerequisite concepts needed to take a high school level Algebra 1 course.
I have been teaching pre-algebra for over fifteen years. I have also taught middle school math grades 6-8, algebra, geometry, algebra II, and pre-calculus. I am a certified teacher and I Currently teach pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and Algebra II at a private school.
