This is a small one-time class where learners use the dice to add and subtract to move around the board. #academic

US Grade Kindergarten
Learners will practice adding and subtracting skills in an engaging online board game. Learners choose their colors and roll the dice to see who goes first. They will add the two dice and determine who gets the highest roll. They will put learner turns in order based on this roll. Next, learners will take turns rolling the dice, adding them, and moving that many spaces on the board. Peers may offer assistance when needed. The first to the finish line will win the game. She has 18+ years of tutoring/teaching experience, both virtual and in-person, as well as 16 years+ of experience as a volunteer teacher, tutor, and coach in schools and classrooms. In addition to teaching, Miss. Ashley is part of curriculum development and review team for an online ELA and math teaching/tutoring company, where she also serves as a Learning Partner and Academic Advisor for incoming students. Other related experience includes ELA and math tutoring the University of Connecticut Student Center, substitute teaching in the public school system and working for five years as a Financial Controller of a litigation support firm with offices across the United States.
