Class Experience

This student-led social class, taught by an Autistic teacher, is designed to give neurodiverse students an opportunity to practice communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills while playing fun and challenging board games. These games require learners to use strategy, executive functioning skills, and (occasionally) collaborate with their classmates to win. The games provide natural, but low-risk consequences, and allow for real skill development. Students will vote on the game we play each week giving them full control and making this class student-led.
