Being able to write an effective paragraph is an essential skill for students. Strong paragraph writing lays the foundation for essays, research papers, and clear communication across all subjects—including science and math! In this interactive class, students will learn how to structure and write well-organized paragraphs through engaging activities such as: ✅ Lesson videos for direct instruction ✅ Guided notes to reinforce key concepts ✅ Blooket for fun, interactive learning ✅ Reading & highlighting a nonfiction text ✅ Vocabulary development & comprehension questions ✅ Paragraph writing practice with teacher feedback Students will complete two structured writing assignments: ✏️ Paragraph 1: A personal writing prompt about their own life ✏️ Paragraph 2: An informative response based on a nonfiction passage about The Titanic 📝 Teacher Feedback & Progress Reports: All writing assignments can be submitted for personalized feedback. Additionally, the instructor will send weekly progress reports on Fridays for students who have completed work. By the end of this class, students will gain confidence in writing clear, structured, and well-supported paragraphs! 🚀

The Titanic informational text does include drowning and death.
Blooket is also used for each text. Students don't need an account to access the activities.
