📖 Bridge to Terabithia: Summer Book Club Camp (Gr. 4-6 | Ages 9-12)

Reading isn’t just an essential skill—it’s a gateway to imagination and adventure! In this live summer book club, students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade will dive into the beloved classic Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. Through engaging activities, students will explore plot, character development, themes, and vocabulary while building strong reading comprehension skills.

📚 What Students Will Learn:
Throughout the course, students will:
✅ Analyze plot events – Identify key moments in the story
✅ Describe characters – Explore character traits, motivations, and relationships
✅ Recognize themes – Discuss central ideas like friendship, courage, and loss
✅ Strengthen vocabulary – Define and use new words from the book
✅ Support answers with text evidence – Practice citing the story for deeper understanding
