Make your year great in 2023 and Create your own superhero suit in Spanish in this one time class. This class is designed for young learners that are new to Spanish. I will use an immersion approach where students will work with a small set of vocabulary and we will speak, read, write and listen in the target language from the beginning. First we will learn to introduce ourselves. After we learn to introduce ourselves, we circle around the same set of words (color words/costume related words) using superhero props, costumes and more . Therefore, students are exposed to much more than basic colors. After practicing a variety of super suit and color vocabulary learners will draw their own super suit on their own character or use my template as a guide. As time allows learners will share their drawings of their super suit using Spanish or labeling their art with Spanish vocabulary from our class. Students will need 1 sheet blank paper or printout of class handout and drawing supplies. There is no prerequisite to join this class but it will be important for students to have a basic reading and writing level in their first language. An adult nearby would be essential for the youngest learners. We will cover greetings, color words, super hero costumes descriptions and more in this lesson. 1 time trial lessons can be a different vocabulary set for small groups. Please message me if you would like to do a different set such as family, shapes, animals, house vocabulary, greetings, or numbers so on.
Learning Goals
Students will learn and apply spanish color and costume words to enrich their vocabulary while creating their own super hero costume.
