Informal assessmentClass Experience
In this ongoing music and movement class we will sing, play, and learn! -We begin class with a hello song that includes a variety of motions. We end our class with a goodbye song. -We enjoy a music and movement oral story. -We have fun with finger play activities. We sing, move, learn, and play to a variety of musical selections. Learners will have the option to help select some of the movements we will use in our class. Teacher will interact directly with the class. No pre-requisite required to attend our class. Young learners thrive on repetition. Our music and movement classes continually review each week and expand on what we have learned. Continuing learners and new learners will have something to learn from every class! Every class is stand alone so you can join our class any week. Monthly class format: Week 1: Introduce our topic and monthly story Week 2: Re-tell our story and introduce new song(s) Week 3: Expand our story and introduce a new song while expanding on old songs Week 4: Continue with story and enjoy extensions with all of the songs we learned.
