Let’s Make Music - Pop, Rock, Disney, Hip Hop Music Production With GarageBand
Students will learn about music production with the free software, GarageBand, and their iPads, to create a new style of music every week. We will cover basic music theory and rhythm, as well as piano, guitar, synths and drum.

I am a full-time Outschool teacher with two bachelor's degrees, one in Music Studies and another in Information Technology. I have worked as an educator for almost a decade, including 4 years of online teaching. I am a music production fanatic who enjoys learning and teaching music technology.
Please note that students require: 1- An iPad (for GarageBand) 2- A separate computer or laptop (to follow along on Zoom) *This class is for learning GarageBand on iPad. Students may not use the computer version of GarageBand for this class. ***Before you register:*** 🥁 We will be using the latest version of GarageBand so that all students are using the same software and have access to the same features. 🥁 Please check that your device is compatible with the new iPadOS 15.3.1: The new iPadOS 15.3.1 is compatible with iPad mini 4 and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, and all iPad Pro models. 👉 To check the model of your iPad: On your iPad: Look for the 'Settings' icon (the gear icon) and click on it On the left-hand side, look for 'General' and click on it On the right-hand side, look for 'About' and click on it On the right-hand side, look for 'Model Name' to see your iPad model 👉👉👉***Please download the latest version of iPadOS (iOS 15.3.1) then, 👉👉👉***Please download the latest version of GarageBand.
