In this class, we will make a simple sock turkey. I will provide step by step instructions on how to make this adorable sock turkey and use a camera to demonstrate to the student how it is done. The class will be slow moving to allow each student to complete each step and not feel rushed. Students will be able to ask questions during each step and I will check their work to ensure understanding. We will discuss Thanksgiving and tell what we are thankful for while we are making our turkeys. Students will need to know how to use a rubber band and scissors. **Depending on class size and the amount of help needed, class time could run longer.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name is teacher Michelle! I’m excited to teach you in my classroom. We will have classes together about how to spell, reading classic literature, cooking for children with allergies and making dog treats. I have taught in the public school for 2 years as an ESE teacher of intellectually disabled students, online for 4 years as an ESL teacher and have been homeschooling my son for 3 years. I have my teacher certification for teaching in Florida for grades k-5 and an ESE certificate for grades k-12. I believe that it is so important to help every student be successful in each lesson at their own level. I live in sunny Florida with my husband and son. I enjoy swimming, playing tennis and flying in our twin engine airplane to visit family and friends. I’m so excited to meet you in my classroom!
