Class Experience

Learn The Art of Sewing 3: Intermediate Beginner Projects is part 3 of The Learn The Art of Sewing series. It is a project-based course designed to allow the students who took the Learn The Art of Sewing: Beginner Basics and Learn The Art of Sewing 2: Beginner Projects the opportunity to create more sewing projects with increased difficultly.

Each week the students will work on a different project that is an intermediate level project designed to be created with a sewing machine. Such as:

Day 1 = An Eyeglass Case Holder
Day 2 = Expandable Headband
Day 3 = A Crossbody Tote Bag
Day 4 = Placemats with napkin pocket (optional technique quilted)

Parental guidance may be required to assist the student with the prep work as well as the sewing of their projects.

This course WILL NOT teach the students how to thread their machines or wind their bobbins, sew in straight lines, or how to turn their work under the needle. Those skills are learned in the 1st class Learn The Art of Sewing: Beginner Basics.

Note* Please see the supply list for the necessary products needed for each week.
