Students will dive into the study of Earthquakes, learn about basic facts, understand how they are formed and the damage they can create to whole towns or even major cities.
Students will learn facts regarding:
*What exactly is an earthquake
*What causes an earthquake
*Where they happen
*How to prepare before it happens
*Prepare during the earthquake
*Evacuation alternatives
*What happens after its done
*How long it lasts
*Why they are dangerous


Students will be encouraged to learn and discuss during this lesson. After the lesson students will complete a worksheet in which they will answer questions of the presentation. Some of the questions will be completed and discussed as a class, the rest will be answered individually, this will allow for extension and clarification.
