Class Experience

In this 3-week class, students will learn how to have self-compassion and improve self-confidence! In this social and emotional learning lesson, students practice self-confidence by identifying and developing the tools to practice self-confidence, improve self-esteem and positive thinking. Students will improve their understanding of having self-confidence, self-appreciation, and positive thinking.

I enjoy teaching Science, Reading, Social skills, and ESL classes. To add, I love teaching developmental and growth mindset skills.  I am passionate about entrepreneurship and enjoy inspiring kids to think beyond their comfort zones. I am an experienced Home School Teacher, ESL Online Teacher, and Counselor with a Master's of Social Work degree. I have over 10 years of experience teaching elementary and teens,  reading, science, and math subjects via homeschool, private school, summer camps, and virtually. I have over 13 years of Social Work experience with a concentration in cognitive behavior and child welfare. I am TESOL certified and have taught virtual ESL courses for over 3 years to Pre-K and elementary students.

Students will write in a journal and complete at least 3 worksheets if unable to compete during class. Homework should not take more than 30 minutes.

Handouts will be provided throughout the session.
Students will need a notebook, composition book or journal.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
