Class Experience

This class will include warmups, solfege singing, music reading, listening practice, and 2-3 fun songs to sing!

This is a well-rounded course for beginning singers. I love to keep my students engaged by including many different types of musical activities in one lesson that all connect, so they continue to feel excited and motivated. We’ll constantly be moving and learning new and fun music activities!

Class Breakdown:
🎤 Fun vocal warm ups incorporating body movement, funny tongue twisters, silly sounds
🎤 Intro to solfege notes (a.k.a. your Do, Re, Mi’s) with hand signs & the musical staff
🎤 Echoing games with Ms. G (we may even play my students and I’s favorite game, “Poison Melody”!)
🎤 Songs! 2-4 fun songs with movements that will encourage the students to feel confident and excited about singing.

I will provide feedback as needed to students in order to achieve a gentle and age-appropriate sound and we will have so much fun singing and dancing together. AND I'll even accompany our songs on my guitar!

Can't wait to see you in the classroom!
