What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this ongoing class, we will sing, play, move, and learn about MUSIC! Each class will be filled with songs, games, rhymes, and imagination. We will talk and laugh as we learn musical concepts like high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft, and the ability to keep a steady beat. We will review in every class, so feel free to join this ongoing class at any time. This unique introduction to music brings the joy and love of music making to each child. Children will often learn language, math, science, and/or social studies as I sneakily integrate something into each lesson. We will continue to use our imagination through live storytelling, props, and various friends we meet along the way (aka puppets or real instruments). Your child will be musically active and engaged, having fun, and feeling valued as we shake, rattle, and roll. So... Come on in, it's almost time to start. Your musical adventure awaits! Sample Class: Greeting song Engine, Engine #9 (with storytelling) Jelly in a Bowl Meet Sky the bird and Leo the Lion (where do they live?) Play a high and low game with Sky and Leo Trees Movement Song Meet Charlie the Clarinet (Can you keep a secret)? Sing Goodbye Alligator Our 30 minutes will be filled with music, laughter, and love. Sing on!
Learning Goals
Students will learn new songs, chants and games to begin to develop their singing voices. They will also learn the music concepts of high/low, fast/slow, and loud/soft. Your child will also learn about steady beat, pitch, language skills, physical coordination, counting, science of sound and animals, different countries, and kindness to each other. A true musical treasure chest!
