US Grade 4 - 7
Tutoring provides one-on-one, individualized instruction. These sessions can be once per week or you can sign up for multiple sessions. I use interactive whiteboards, game-based learning programs, and other online educational resources. Elementary Math: focusing on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills. This will include lessons on place and value as well as how to read and solve word problems. Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1: learning vocabulary, formulas, and steps. How to use algebra in everyday life. Geometry: basic shape recognition; volume; 2D and 3D shapes; area; how geometry is used in everyday life. Reading Foundations: letter/sound recognition; word chunking; word chains; sentence construction; capitalization; punctuation; learning to read fluently. Social Studies: world history; US history; Native American studies; geography

I ask lots of questions at the beginning so that I can design a tutoring program for YOUR student. I am able to support most unique learning needs but am super familiar with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and general learning disabilties.
