Singers will learn about the vocal anatomy and healthy singing habits. They will learn to control their pitch, develop a good sense of rhythm, find and work on their range and, learn new songs. They will also learn how to read music and sing notes in key. 

Véronique Duguay has been teaching for the past 8 years. She holds a degree in performing arts as a Jazz Singer and is currently completing a BA. In musical education. As a contestant on the 2019 edition of The Voice Canada (La Voix), she has hands-on experience with professional performances, audition preparation and vocal training. 

Homework Offered
1-2 hours of practice a week is recommended. The teacher will send singers audio recording suited for their needs as well as audio recording for their song choice. The teacher might also assign simple worksheet to practice reading and singing on pitch. 
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Teacher will log the student's progress and will provide a written report at the end of class. Every 5 classes, singers will be asked to perform a song as if they were on a stage. The teacher will write comments and tips for improvements.
