Writing is a very important factor and during this class we will begin building our fine motor skills while engaging in conversation.
Class experience
During this pre-writing class learners will get an opportunity to use their fine motor skills, to draw letters. This will help to build their strength in fingers and encourage them to become great writers. This is a Montessori class and as a group we will discuss each finger and learn their names. I will ask open ended questions and allow each student to give me a letter that they would like to explore. All letters will be displayed on my screen ( only the one we are discussing) and I will...
The goal of this class is to encourage and motivate each learners writing skills.
I have worked in public, private and home-school programs. Each one of them are very special, but through it all I was given an opportunity to teach a Montessori class and I loved it. With that being said, do you know that many people learn best this way. I feel that this is my area of expertise, because I have studied this way of learning for many years and this is also the way I learn best. I also continue educating myself on ways to improve this learning style.
Each learner will need a tray field with one small layer of sand (rice, dirt, flour, salt....). Dry erase board and marker or pencil and paper
