Join me in drawing this cute sloth hanging from a tree branch in the jungle. I'll guide you line by line, every step of the way. Everyone will be encouraged to add their own details and if there is time, we will color them in. Pencil and paper are required. Sharpie or black marker and colored pencils are recommended (crayons or markers are good too) During the one-time 50-minute class, proportions, perspective, subject, composition, color, and value will all be discussed. Students will have the option to ask questions specifically related to the drawing as they go. Students may need time after the class to complete the coloring portion of their art. All learners are welcome, no prior experience necessary. *Camera on required for on-the-spot support and for safety *Siblings and/or co-learners must each be enrolled to attend. All students must be enrolled separately per Outschool policy. Unenrolled students at the time of class will be placed in the waiting room until the parent can enroll them. *All class times are approximate and may end early based on student ability and pace. *All classes will begin on time as long as the learner is in the classroom. If all students are absent at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes.
Learning Goals
Students will become familiar with drawing sloths and will create a fully colored work of art.
