Learn to Record & Perform Music: A Step-by-Step Guide In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of recording and performing music. They will: Listen to a selection of songs, analyze song form, and choose one to learn. Develop a personalized approach to learning the song. Apply their approach through structured practice, improving technique and musicality. Record or perform the song, integrating their learning into a final project. Tools Needed: Laptop, tablet, or computer Reaper (free DAW software) Audio interface (optional) Microphone (optional) Headphones Musical instrument (if applicable) Why Take This Course? In today’s digital world, mastering music recording is essential. This course provides hands-on experience in creating and capturing music, helping students develop recording skills crucial for musicians and content creators alike. Experienced music producer with over 15 years of producing musicians and 10+ years of teaching music production to students aged 10 and up. Offering expert guidance in recording, mixing, and mastering for aspiring artists and producers. *Songs May include stories of oppression/violence.
