Learn the basics of modern music making mixed with a curriculum that exposes the students to the classic traditions of music making. Enhance your music production, performance, and critical listening skills through a mix of group practice, individual work, live performances, and active listening exercises featuring global music and peer compositions. Challenge yourself with time-based music creation tasks to boost efficiency and creativity. Master Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Skills * Learn how to record, edit, and produce music using industry-standard tools. * Download and install Reaper DAW for hands-on experience. * Explore song structure, meter, and instrumentation (synth, voice, drum, guitar, etc.). * Generate and refine musical ideas to develop your unique sound. * Write lyrics and study songwriting fundamentals for expressive storytelling. * Capture your live performance with high-quality recording techniques. * Mix and master your track for a polished, professional sound.
