Language Speaking by a Certified Spanish Teacher Part 3: Conversational Spanish
Class experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Intermediate Level
I am eager to share research-based strategies to effectively learn a new language. In these multiple-day lessons, the student will increase their vocabulary that will allow them to maintain a simple social conversation when traveling locally and internationally, follow the curriculum in a Hispanic school, and may a have doctor's appointment. This will be an interactive lesson where the student will listen carefully, repeat, and practice Spanish by writing poems and writing a short dialogue...
The student will learn to ask for details on how to get around in a foreign school and place, and a doctor's visit.
I am a Hispanic teacher with a master degree certified in Spanish. I received by basic education in Puerto Rico and received my training and certification in Spanish in Florida. For over 15 years, I have taught in bilingual programs where American and Hispanic students learned core subjects (science, social studies, and math) in Spanish and I also taught Spanish 1 & 2 in middle and high school level. I include proper grammar mini-lessons when I teach English and braille. I tutor adults who want to refine their writing skills in Spanish.
