¡Bienvenidos y bienvenidas! (Welcome!) In this Spanish course, you will learn basic meanings of the verb know, reflexive verbs, and reciprocal actions. At the end of the course, you will be able to communicate in many everyday situations.. The course, which is designed for English speakers, offers a variety of exercises after going through the stages of content presentation, comprehension, and production. You have videos, small texts, and audios to improve your pronunciation, glossaries, activities for oral practice with other course students, informal quizzes, grammar cards, and recommendations on external Internet resources to continue learning more and more Spanish. The topics on which the activities revolve are work life, family life, city life, and outdoor life. As you can see, a bit of everything to be able to talk about yourself and to engage in everyday communication. Im eager to share research-based strategies to effectively learn a new language. In these multiple-day lessons, the student will increase the vocabulary that will allow them to maintain a simple social conversation when traveling locally and internationally, follow the curriculum in a Hispanic school, and may a have doctor's appointment. This will be an interactive lesson where the student will listen carefully, repeat, and practice Spanish by writing poems and writing a short dialogue applying grammatical rules. They will learn the proper usage of verbs, nouns, and pronouns. My teaching style is student-centered. The class will move forward at the student's pace. I will make sure that students understand what they are doing before I provide opportunities for independent work. The student will be able to see models of dialogue in short video clips. This class is for a student who does not speak Spanish whatsoever or want to improve the Spanish language. They must be fluent speakers in their native language. They will identify cognates that will help them with the transition of languages. I am a Hispanic teacher with a master degree certified in Spanish. I received by basic education in Puerto Rico and received my training and certification in Spanish in Florida. For over 15 years, I have taught in bilingual programs where American and Hispanic students learned core subjects (science, social studies, and math) in Spanish, and I also taught Spanish 1 & 2 at the middle and high school levels. I tutor adults who want to refine their writing skills in Spanish. I am an eager learner who never stops discovering knowledge.
