Cursive and Fingers on Keyboard for Speed Typing by Language Arts Teacher, M.A.

These classes are organized in two segments: Cursive Writing and Typing Writing. Parents may choose 1 or 2 sections, according to their interest. These classes are for third graders and up who want to learn cursive writing and for students up to sixth grade. It will include writing words, phrases, and sentences as the students progress in learning letter formation. The speed of the class greatly depends on the student's motivation, extended practice on his/her own, and ability to grasp the procedure of letter formation. 

For the second section, the student will learn typing techniques. The goal is to type without looking at the keyboard. Students in this class must know basic writing or manuscript to enter this class. 

Session 1: Cursive: A-H (Parts of a computer and its uses; writing words and fragments)
Session 2: I-P (Writing phrases)
Session 3: Q-W (Writing sentences)
Session 4: X-Z (Writing a paragraph)

Second Section: Typing
Session 1: A-Q-Z (According to the right position of hands on the keyboard...)
Session 2: S-W-X, D-E-C
Session 3: F-R-V, J-U-M, K-I-, (comma)
Session 4: L-O-. (period) - letters of index fingers, numbers, and supporting keys
