In this lesson, learners will be taught how to read an interesting story that helps young children make sense of what it is to be human and helps them understand the world around them. Learners will learn how to read an Arabic folktale and write some new words that will expand their vocabulary. First, the teacher will read the story, then, in the second reading, the learner(s) will repeat it after their teacher. Learners will enjoy reading the story which contains some illustrations that explain the events of the folktale.

Parental Guidance
I am a native Arab speaker. I was a teacher of English to Arabic-speaking students for more than 30 years. I used to teach my kids and my grandkids English and Arabic as I have long experience teaching kids at actual schools and online. When I was a kid I used to gather the kids in my neighborhood and act the role of my teachers and teach them what I learned that day at school. It’s a joy working with children. I am patient and have a friendly teaching environment.
I try hard to understand each of these individual students and motivate them to want and enjoy learning.
It is important for teachers to prepare for their classes beforehand, by reviewing all of the class material as preparation goes hand in hand with the organization. Learning is a long-life process, so we, as teachers, have to provide learners with more and better opportunities and improve their quality of life.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am Muna Habeeb . I live in USA - TX -
I have been teaching English for more than 30 years. The first twenty-seven years of my professional career as an English teacher were in the classroom setting teaching elementary-aged children and High School students. For the last three years, I have been teaching online for VIPkid an online-based teaching platform. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in English and I also possess a TESOL certificate. I love teaching. To me, it is a fascinating and noble job and I find it very gratifying. Since I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher. During my playtime, I often pretended to be a teacher and I played teaching the other kids in our neighborhood. I believe those good teachers have to encourage their students to shoot for the stars. An important part of the role requires us, teachers, to spark our students' interest in the subject matter and keep them engaged throughout. I work hard to make my lessons entertaining, relevant, and engaging. I make sure to adapt to each student, based on their skills, learning ability, and knowledge.
