In this one time class, students will learn about the three main types of rocks and several different types of minerals and gemstones through a vibrant presentation, discussions, and demonstrations. They will use play dough to apply their new knowledge and create their own rocks. Students will be encouraged to participate in discussions and ask/answer questions.
