Hola! bienvenidos! In this 1 time course, students will learn basic phrases and greetings to converse with others in Spanish at a basic level. *The class will be mixed in both English and Spanish.* My classroom will be a friendly place where students can feel welcomed. I will speak slow and clear and model sentences. In this class we will learn (How to introduce ourselves, simple greetings, colors, days of the week, numbers, about me, etc) I will incorporate singing in our class so if your child likes singing this is the place to be! Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, Spanish greetings, and simple sentence structure. I will use fun methods such as songs, visuals, and flashcards to help the students engage and interact in the lessons. **I am not a native speaker. I was born in the USA and grew up speaking Spanish due to my half Nicarguan hereitage. I've traveled to many Latin American countries and teach English to students in China from home. I am so excited to share my love for Spanish with your learner!! I hope to see you in the classroom!

Hola Amigos! Welcome to my profile! I'm an online ESL teacher and I've come to Outschool to teach more of my passions.
About me:
I am born and raised in New Jersey, 10 minutes from New York city. I am a coffee drinking, Disney loving, world traveler, blogger, book worm. I love singing, playing piano, hiking, and being around my family! I graduated from William Paterson University. I have a degree in General humanities with a concentration in Sociology and Psychology. I am Tesol and TEFL certified (Teaching English as a Second Language).
Classes I offer: The main courses I'll be teaching on Outschool is Intro to Spanish for young learners, Circle time for pre-k and Kindergarten, traveling to famous cities, and wellness.
My Teaching Experience: I worked with students ages 3-21 in the school system for 7 years, I thought students with disabilities. I did one-on-one teaching and worked in small groups. One of the advantages of working in a public school is that I sat in many classroom settings and learned a lot from different teachers about what works best in a learning setting. I've worked with students who are autistic, have ADHD, and are emotionally challenged. I also have experience teaching students in China ESL.
I love teaching because sharing my knowledge with others is very rewarding. Every single day I hope to make a difference in someone's life which goes far beyond knowledge. As an online teacher I hope to inspire, support and mentor.
