Color Mixing Masters: The Color Theory Caterpillar!
In this class, students will learn the basics of color theory. We will learn about the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, tints and shades. They will then mix their own tints and shades and decorate the Color Theory Caterpillar!

Beginner Level
In this class, we explore the idea of color theory. We begin by learning about the color wheel and our basic primary and secondary colors. We will introduce the idea of tints and shades. Tints are lighter colors achieved by mixing a color with white. Shades are a darker color achieved by mixing colors with black. Each student will choose their favorite primary/secondary color. I hold an Associates in Arts degree in Studio Art from Wake Technical Community College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from UNC-Greensboro. I own by own art business and I have over ten years of experience in the childcare industry.
