Minecraft Crafting IRL (in Real Life) - Creeper Coloring & Narrative Writing
In this one-time course, students will learn about the backstory of the Minecraft Creeper, color squares to create a Creeper of their own, and write a short story. If we have additional time, we will search for Creepers in drawings!
Class Experience
Beginner Level
Students will be provided with a brief backstory and list of characteristics of the Creeper from Minecraft. Afterwards, they will be shown an example of a short story about a Creeper and given a writing prompt. I'll play music in the background and give students time to finish their story, then students will have the opportunity to share their stories if they would like.
