Intro to Self Defense

This high energy class is an introduction to the basic techniques of Self Defense. Individual techniques will be taught, combined into combinations and applied to self defense situations. Workouts will begin with a fun warmup to prepare the students for class. The main focus of class will be teaching skills like situational awareness, verbal defense, blocks, strikes, wrist grab and punch defense. Classes will also include discussion on the philosophy of “Might for Right” and other important life skills like Focus, Discipline and Respect. Students are encouraged to push themselves to be their best. No prior experience is required.
