Mixed Martial Arts (MMA): Fitness, Focus and Fun for Teens!
In this ongoing class, students will be taught techniques from Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu and Israeli Defense.
This high energy class is an introduction to the basic techniques of Mixed Martial Arts. Techniques from Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu and Israeli Defense will be taught individually and combined into combinations. Over 38 years experience training and teaching Mixed Martial Arts.
Continued practice is encouraged after course is completed.
A pad (something like a pillow) that can used to practice techniques on.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents should observe all classes to be aware of techniques being taught. I encourage parents to practice techniques with students outside of class. Please make sure proper workout attire (t-shirt and shorts) is worn. Socks are not recommended as they may cause the student to slip. Make sure that students have an area clear of obstructions so they can safely practice kicks, punches and ground techniques.
