Students will work through the first half of Fix It! Grammar Nose Tree.

Structure and Style for Students Level A Year 1 teaches beginning writing students IEW's Structure and Style approach. Students reading at a 3rd- 5th-grade level will delight in the humorous and exciting texts as they learn to write in incremental steps.

Throughout the course, students are provided with clear assignments. These include vocabulary words and itemized checklists to ensure everything is included in their essay.

Combining grammar knowledge with thought-provoking writing topics such as deserts, camels, snakes, and traditional tales like The Little Red Hen, students will surely succeed in writing essays rich with new words and descriptive sentences.

This course completes the first half of the books over twelve weeks.

Students may wish to watch the accompanying DVDs for additional instruction, but this class does not require that.

I will be the editor for students who wish to submit a rough draft for review before turning in their final draft.
