I am a professional freelance clarinetist who has been playing and reading sheet music for over a decade. I have also played with professional jazz musicians. I have a bachelor's degree from NYU in Music Education and have taught music reading to elementary students while student teaching in a NYC Public School. I have also arranged in treble clef, with a strong understanding of pace and repetition being crucial to the learning process of note identification.
Students will be assigned a fun note identification sheet for homework, which will be completed upon completion of the class.
