Creating Youtube videos can be a fun hobby and a valuable way to share important information. Whatever the reason may be, learning how to make a Youtube video is a great skill to have in our present world. In this class, I will share with you from my own experience of creating Youtube videos for your channel. We will walk through the process step by step with my screen in full view and learn how to edit videos iMovie for iPad or iPhone. We will cover how to create a thumbnail, discuss what is good content, how to post the video, and how to use a green screen. Please be prepared to learn and be inspired by having your laptop or desktop available to use and follow along in the process. I hope to see you in class! First Class: Intro to editing Second Class: Intro to Thumbnails and posting on YouTube Third Class: Intro to Green Screen (Chroma Key) and a content brainstorming session. Students should have: - A YouTube account created before class so that they can post videos onto a YouTube account. Parents will need to assist kids under 13 to open an account -The YouTube App and YouTube Studios App - iMovie on your iPad or iPhone - A short prerecorded video that we can edit. (this can be a 1-minute video of their cute dog etc.)

Supply List
-At least one laptop or desktop is needed to view the class. If you have a separate tablet or phone to view the class, that would be helpful. -iMovie -A YouTube account for someone older than 13 with no parental restrictions. Adult supervision is required to use the account. -YouTube Studios App -A simple prerecorded film to edit in class (nothing special, a film of their cute dog would work okay.) -The Canva App is optional
