We will start the lesson with introductions and a song to get students motivated and ready to learn. Students will be invited to participate as we practice counting by five to make our own number line from 5 to 60. Then we will use our number line to help us learn to tell time in five minute intervals. Students will be provided with both guided and independent practice as they practice telling time to the nearest five minute interval. Students will also learn to write the time using the digital format. Students will also practice matching digital and analog clocks that show the same time. Don't be late! See you in class!

Students will need paper and a pencil or a dry erase board and a marker.

All kids can learn. It's my pleasure as a teacher to get the opportunity to help your child learn. I have 31 years of varied classroom teaching experience including preschool, kindergarten, first, third, and fifth grades. I also have two years of experience as an online ESL teacher. I have my Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Southwest Missouri State University. I love teaching kids! I have a passion and a love in my heart for helping kids.
