Description
Class Experience
I have been teaching math for more than 25 years, and this program has proven itself time and time again to increase learning and motivation for students who are ready for a challenge. Many times we learn things by memorizing them, but math requires that we truly understand if we are to excel at higher levels. A firm foundation in algebra is essential for every other math course you will ever take. I love giving students the skills they will need to meet those challenges!
Students usually have 8 to 12 homework problems to complete before the next lesson.
Students need a Hands-On Equations kit that can be order for about $16 from Amazon. Since this is the second course in the series, you should already have this kit. Worksheets for review will be given once class begins.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
