Sometimes, we will not complete all of the sheets in the packet but will leave some that will allow learners to get extra practice at home. Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class students will learn 1st grade math skills including addition within 20, subtraction within 20, time, and counting within 100. We will make it fun by using a bubble pop fidget, abacus, clock or other manipulatives to learn the fundamental concepts of addition, subtraction, time, and counting within 100. We believe that active participation is key to building strong foundational math skills. Through hands-on activities and guided problem-solving, your learner will gain confidence in math concepts. We make math fun and relatable, turning abstract concepts into tangible learning experiences. 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞! This class allows for flexible enrollment. Our classes are structured so that learners on the 1st grade level can join class times that have already begun. Join at any time during the school year and you can participate in the lessons. Each week's lesson is designed to be independent yet connected, so new learners can join at any point. Missed a class? No worries, as students can jump right back into the flow without falling behind. Each week, a thoughtfully chosen variety of manipulatives will be used in teaching. Notably, the selection will differ weekly, ensuring a focused approach. It's essential to understand that not all listed manipulatives will be used each week, aligning with specific learning goals and enhancing the learning experience.
