In this class, we will look at a picture of cartoon haunted houses and use our five senses to brainstorm together and create a word bank with descriptive adjectives. We will have a mini lesson about how to use these adjectives to write a complete sentence and the teacher will show some examples. Then students will use their worksheet to write 5 complete sentences about what they see, smell, hear, taste and feel. There will be an opportunity for students to share their ideas with each other at the end of class.
