In this one-time class, learners will create their own festive Halloween signs welcoming trick-or-treaters to their homes.
Class Experience
This class will allow learners to create fun signs to place in front of the doors or yards of their homes to welcome trick-or-treaters! We will look at examples of signs that welcome trick-or-treaters, brainstorm ideas for designs and messages we can place on the sign (like "Happy Halloween!" or "Trick-Or-Treaters Treat Here!"), and finally make our own designs. Designs can be made with whatever materials the learners prefer: paper, posters, wood planks, canvas, chalkboards, pencils, pens,...
Materials of the learner's choice for creating the sign. Learners could consider using paper, poster board, chalk board, canvas, wood planks, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, paint, chalk, or other art supplies to create their signs.
